I've updated my review because I recently learned that Dr. Hipp is no longer associated with Latch & So. I don't want my experience with her to negatively impact that business, seeing as how I left prior to any assessments began.
I will also include a follow-up message I received from who I will assume is Dr. Hipp's account on May 15, 2018.
It reads as follows:
"Hello Ms. Chante: Thank you for explaining your infuriated position about splitting my attention by another visit, occuring at the same time. Had you truly been in an auto accident like you claimed, you would NOT have been protecting the insurance company, you would have been protecting yourself and wanting real help for your injuries. You know that if your injuries were real we would need an attorney to fight for your right to care that is paid by the party at fault. You visited me 7 months post collision, it's more difficult to be successful in a paid claim, but the limit is 12 months. Since you are an insurance adjustor, you know attorneys take the case to another level where you have no further power, so you chose social media to flex your INSURANCE ADJUSTOR MUSCLE. Since you were not actually hurt, you felt the weight of the game and bolted, protecting the insurance company and calling me names, accusing me of upselling services you didn't need and so on. Since you left before Xray was administered, we don't know what you need to this day Ms. Chante. I tell all my new patients the different services I offer and I give them a tour of my space. It is customary to take Xray after physical trauma. You claimed auto injury. Following the standard of care, Xray was in order. I truly am here to help in real situations, but not made up power struggles because you
"used to be an insurance adjustor."
I'm sorry you were so uncomfortable."
- Again, my previous review spoke of how unprofessional I thought she was, and here she not only claims I wasn't injured, but I went to seek services to flex my claims adjuster muscle, and I've called her names?! Wow, that's a new one. I digress... She got many things wrong in her email to me, but thinking I wouldn't share it was probably the worst.
For the record, I sought medical treatment with my medical insurance provider's physical therapist and orthopedic surgeon after that ordeal. And yes, I also settled my "fake" injury claim without legal representation.
